summary	The goal of this article is to present a web based scheme for construction project management that has been recently developed and implemented in Calcutta,India. The proposal is based upon the survey of the existing literature and the local status of technology. The proposal consists of two parts. In the first part, site information is processed with the help of standard commercial software to generate project management reports. In-house software has been developed to augment the commercial products wherever necessary. In the second part, a system has been installed where stakeholders could collaborate for project management. A web site has been launched to deliver the product.
