The main objective of this paper is the definition of a mathematical model for the Sheet Chair, which is formed by two self-tensioned plane sheet of wood. Geometric modeling techniques has been used to create the chair three-dimensional mathematical model. Several parameters has been defined for this chair, as for example: seat high, seat length, seat disposition, base width, etc. The methodology adopted in this work consists in the construction of a precise planar models for tridimensional surfaces. Applications of this methodology to Design are also discussed. |
