| Summary: | Esta ponencia hace referencia a la evolución y desarrollo potencial de las aplicaciones de cómputo en el campo de la educación en arquitectura. En particular, se presentan los temas de infrastructura, facultad, y currícula. Al mismo tiempo se establecen relaciones con las tendencies preponderantes tanto en escuelas secundarias como en oficinas profesionales. De esta manera se logra presentar una visión consistente en la que educación y profesión articulan recursos informáticos respondiendo a sus propias agendas. El análisis presentado es ilustrado mediante las condiciones operativas actuales de la Escuela de Arquitectura en la Universidad Texas A&M. La presentación termina haciendo referencia al reto de la globalización profesional y académica en el siglo XXI. |
