Summary: |
The aim of this study is to provide insight into the property specific characteristics that influence the performance of retail property. Property specific characteristics refer to attributes that are connected with the individual stores or the shopping centre as a whole. Examples of these factors are the tenant mix, the storefront, the parking space, etc. It is presumed that property managers will be able to manage the performance of retail property better if they have insight into the relevant property specific characteristics. In this paper the property specific characteristics that have a measurable influence on the performance of retail property are determined through analysis of secondary data. |
