| Summary: | In the necessity to fortify the inhabitants’ decisions in the transformation of their own habitats, it was opened an investigation line about design and production of cartographic maps and models as part of the participative management device in urban environmental projects. In that stage it worked with organizations orientated to improve socio-environmental situation in indigent neighborhoods and settlements. This investigation is part of the UBAC and T Project of the Science and Technique Secretariat of the University of Buenos Aires during the last four years, consisting in an exploration of new professional sceneries for the graphic design management. In this report we present a model in which it is explored the outstanding variables in the design of this elements and its interactions in the course of the project, specially, the decisions related to the technological matter.
