This paper aims to present a proposal for three-dimensional modeling technique of using the resources of CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry), which manages more stable and portable models, that with regard to the possibility of changing the subject by several programs CAD (Computer Aided Design). In the case, the technique presented here uses the resources of CAD programs in general, not cites one in particular, but the functions and commands that all the programs that work with the constructive solid geometry have. The search was organized by defining the application of the technique for modeling projects for engineering and architecture, from this, variations of models of the day-to-day, architects and engineers are presented in order to seek a validation of the technique in relation to the production of objects that generate more stability and portability. Besides the technical modeling using primitive objects of CSG, some suggestions are given on the organization of the design, both with regard to layers and classifications as well as provision of the design in the area designated for the design, so that they seek to expedite the process modeling and use of the model, both by other professionals as to implement changes to its structure or even apply materials in treatment programs for photo-realistic. It is essential to note that this work is not a tutorial for 3D modeling of a specific program, but a suggestion of techniques that can help at the time of projecting, generating models that can be re-used and recognized in other CAD programs, which do not is modeled on what was, without losing information about its surface structure and volume. The correct use of modeling and organization in the development of these projects submitted makes it more agile and efficient the process project, thus contributing to gains in productivity and time, and consequently influence the cost benefit of the project. |
