Summary: |
Introduction of computational techniques and numeric potentials to the process of architectural design has significantly challenged the process of form generation. Architectural morphogenesis denotes the generation of architectural form via its geometric adaptation to materiality and constructability. This work is presented as a part of a research activity which investigates integration of construction information as well as material properties to geometric description of the architectural form. Different aspects of architectural form are explored through analysis of certain examples. Basic issues of the research were examined through a one week workshop experiment with architecture students |
