This work presents a learning action developed to verify in what degree could the TIDIA-Ae virtual environment support design education emphasizing remote collaboration and the manipulation/visualization of data in multiple formats. The TIDIA-Ae virtual environment is a product of the Program on Information Technology in Development of Advanced Internet sponsored by the Foundation for the Support of Research of the State of São Paulo - FAPESP. A design exercise was developed enforcing the inclusion of guidelines for community integration and security, implementation, street system and parking, public, private and open space, and landscaping considering quality of life and sustainability for low income housing projects. |
