This article discusses the experience of a design course at the School of Architecture at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil, based on the principles of kinetic architecture, parametric design and digital fabrication, together with a proposal for a breakthrough in the design process. The article is written by the two professors of the course, who drafted and conducted the proposal with a group of 14 students, along with a researcher who participated in the critical analysis of the course and the students’ work. |
