Summary: |
The emergence of new social codes and knowledge, including on new technologies of information and communication, has changed our gaze in the new and complex order of the city and the everyday experience of the people. In this article, we show how the user friendly software like Google Earth, Google Maps and the 3D modeling program SketchUP were used to explore urbanity in a current research with high schools students at University of Campinas (Unicamp). This research had as the main objective to integrate geometric aspects into simulation of urban development and environmental impacts. |
