| Summary: | Integration of data and knowledge among project participants andtheir computer applications holds the promise to improve the quality and efficiency of the project delivery process in the AEC industry. Wepropose that integration can be achieved by sharing a standard project model. In this paper, we describe such models. We summarize two research projects that developed and used shared project models and we outline essential characteristics of these models. |
