"The convergence of emerging cultural analysis tools and knowledgemanagement solutions are creating facility knowledge environments. Thisenvironment combines web-based cultural and technological solutions thatare assisting corporate and government agencies with substantiallife-cycle time and money savings. The ability to map the traditionalcorporate hierarchy with the new reality of internal cultural networksprovides a roadmap that ""target markets"" internal knowledge. Experiencehow Silicon Valley-based high tech corporations and United Statesgovernment agencies are combining these cultural maps with computernetworks, portable Palm devices and the life-cycle design of facilityenvironments, providing an enterprise the enabling mechanism towardcontrolling traditional corporate cost centers like operations andfacilities. These initiatives are being measured through an array ofmetrics that will be shown. These initiatives (both private andgovernment) began in the Fall of 1998." |
